Ambassador Barbershop: over CZK 540,000 extra in over a year since launch
Since launching in May 2025, Retenzio has helped Ambassador Barbershop gain 748 additional bookings and increase revenue by CZK 542,620. Every CZK 1 invested helped generate CZK 26.50 in revenue.

What can one well-timed text message do? At Ambassador Barbershop, it often brings a client back into their booking rhythm. Over a year and a quarter, messages from Retenzio helped generate 748 additional bookings and increase revenue by CZK 542,620.
This was not the result of one successful campaign. Retenzio has been running at Ambassador since May 2025, continuously reminding clients to book their next visit, following up after cancellations and helping launch new services. During the same period, Ambassador paid CZK 20,462 for Retenzio. Every CZK 1 invested in Retenzio therefore helped generate CZK 26.50 in attributed revenue.
Two locations and thousands of relationships that cannot be tracked by hand
Ambassador Barbershop has two locations in central Ostrava. By the end of July 2026, it had almost 5,900 clients on record; more than 1,500 of them had made at least five visits.
At this scale, keeping track of every return manually is unrealistic. Some clients book their next appointment before they leave. Others cancel and forget to reschedule. Some begin returning a week later each time until they quietly fall out of the habit. Each case looks small, but together they mean empty chairs and missed revenue.
What Ambassador automates
- Next-visit reminders. When a client reaches their usual return time without a booking, Retenzio gets in touch.
- Follow-up after cancellation. A client who cancels and does not rebook receives a prompt to choose a new time.
- Open slots and campaigns. Relevant clients hear about an available appointment, Christmas availability or a new service.
The automation does not replace the barbers' personal service. It covers the time between visits, when nobody would otherwise follow up.
A year and a quarter in numbers
| Period | SMS sent | Attributed bookings | Attributed revenue | Paid to Retenzio | Revenue-to-spend ratio |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| May–July 2025 (ramp-up) | 1,662 | 133 | CZK 95,650 | CZK 4,947 | 19× |
| August–October 2025 | 1,628 | 170 | CZK 119,530 | CZK 4,788 | 25× |
| November 2025 – January 2026 | 1,908 | 150 | CZK 105,530 | CZK 5,457 | 19× |
| February–April 2026 | 1,179 | 93 | CZK 71,350 | CZK 1,870 | 38× |
| May–July 2026 | 1,985 | 202 | CZK 150,560 | CZK 3,400 | 44× |
That is an average of almost 50 bookings and CZK 36,000 in additional monthly revenue. The strongest three-month period came after more than a year of working together. In May 2026, the best month so far, Retenzio attributed 125 bookings and CZK 92,660 in additional revenue.
What drove the results
Regular reminders delivered the most volume. Two successive versions of the “client did not book their next appointment” scenario attributed a combined 471 bookings and CZK 340,060 in additional revenue. They offered no discount; they simply arrived when the client was due to think about another visit.
A cancellation does not have to mean a lost client. After 512 messages to clients who had not rebooked, 96 bookings and CZK 71,690 in additional revenue were attributed to Retenzio. That is an 18.8% conversion rate.
We helped introduce HEADSPA to existing clients. A one-off campaign let clients know about the new service and helped build awareness around its launch.
The returns repeat. The attributed bookings came from 426 different clients, and 171 booked more than once. Twenty clients booked at least five times; one client came back after our reminders twelve times, spending a combined CZK 12,090.
Half of all attributed bookings were made within approximately 35 hours of the message being sent. In most cases, Retenzio reached the client just as they were ready to consider their next appointment.
How we calculate the numbers
We include a valid booking when it is created after a sent message and falls within Retenzio's attribution window. We exclude cancellations and no-shows, count each booking no more than once, and treat a missing price as zero.
These are attributed revenues, not accounting profit or the result of a controlled experiment. The 26.5× ratio compares attributed revenue with payments to Retenzio; it does not include Ambassador's other costs of serving the bookings.
A year and a quarter reveals more than one campaign
The most important result is not the record month, but the repeatability. Retenzio attributed bookings in every month measured and delivered its strongest period after more than a year. Ambassador no longer has to manually look for clients who cancelled or stopped returning at their usual pace.
Since launch, that has amounted to 748 attributed bookings and a CZK 542,620 increase in revenue from CZK 20,462 invested in Retenzio.
